Tracy Moor

Dr. Tracy Moor is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in ocular disease. She helped establish the UCSD Diabetic Eye Clinic where she examines diabetic patients to detect and manage retinal disease. She is part of the Urgent Eye Care Clinic and cares for patients with eye-related issues such as sudden vision loss, flashes of light and floaters, pain in or around the eye, or sudden double vision. She also provides comprehensive eye exams. Dr. Moor is passionate about helping patients preserve and maintain their vision by providing high quality and compassionate care.

Dr. Moor earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Dayton, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University where she graduated with honors. Dr. Moor then completed a residency in ocular disease at the Columbus and Chillicothe VA Medical Centers in Ohio where she received advanced training in diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts. She also served as an attending doctor and clinical skills instructor to optometry students. After completing her residency, she continued serving veterans at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center as a staff optometrist.
