Mark Christopher

Mark Christopher is an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Christopher received his undergraduate and graduate training from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa.Dr. Christopher’s research focuses on using computational tools to study ophthalmic disease. His active projects include applying machine and deep learning techniques to perform early disease detection, structure-function prediction, and longitudinal analysis of disease progression. Dr. Christopher currently holds an NIH K99 Pathway to Independence award.
